New TA Introductory Workshop
September 2-4, 20098:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.All graduate teaching assistants who are new to the Writing Program at Northeastern are required to attend this three-day, pre-semester professional development workshop. During this workshop, we discuss the First-Year Writing program, read and evaluate student writing, discuss teaching strategies, develop a shared theoretical framework for the teaching of writing, and otherwise begin our work of teaching College Writing.
